Eliminate Distractions

by Michael Stone

Every day, set your focus. Spend time every day, maybe 10 to 20 minutes, to review both your personal and business goals and plan what's most important. This can be done either the evening before or first thing in the morning.

When you know every day what you want to do, it's easier to stay focused on the task at hand. Now get busy and make it happen. Stick with the top priority item until you either finish it or have gone as far as you can. Then move on down your list.

Setting and reaching daily goals, both business and personal, isn't easy. As a matter of fact, it's hard work. But as Mike Jeffries says, "You don't drift to success." You have to make things happen. You can't make excuses or let things stand in your way. Take charge of your day and stay focused.
