In the past few days, I’ve had a few coaching comments tell me they are hearing the same mantra from their customers. “Your price is too high!” How many times have you heard that one?
Here is why you hear that:
1. You are not getting the customer’s budget before you do an estimate.
2. You might be marketing your services to the wrong people.
3. You have been trying to work by referrals.
Referrals are great, but they should never make up more than about 20% to 25% of your workload.
Make these adjustments and you won’t have to hear “Your price is too high!”
