If you are a general contractor, talk with all your subs about the work they are doing away from your jobs. If they are on another job and have demolition to get their part of a job done, who goes back to do the repairs? It should be you.
Ask your subs to hand out your business card and flyer to all their clients, letting them know you can help put their homes back together after the specialty work has been done. Even if it’s a little job, the smart contractors are taking any job they can get, doing a good job and asking for more business and referrals.
Subs, specialty contractors, if you are smart you will align yourself with one or more general contractors that can come behind you and clean up your handy work. You give them a lead; they in turn call you when they get new jobs.
This is a back-scratching business my friends, and those that do, do well.
