Devon and I were at an association social recently and had a great time. I spent time with a banker who works with many remodeling companies around the area.
He had some interesting comments. He said that many of the contractors he talks to don’t bother getting financing for their customers. Their response is, “I let them get their own financing.” He also said that contractors who offer financing programs seem to keep much busier than those who don’t.
Do you have access to financing programs for your customers? If not, it is time to find some.
You should have at least two lenders and one broker that you can send your potential customers to for financing. Make it simple and easy to buy from you.
