I saw a quote this morning from my favorite author:
“Few of us ever live in the present. We are forever anticipating what is to come or remembering what has gone.” – Louis L’Amour, author
Often we get phone calls from contractors worrying about what a customer will say when they present their price for a job.
My response is always the same; stay focused on doing your job. Do a good job of estimating, markup your estimate to get a minimum 8% net profit, sell yourself. If you will do that, you will get you your fair share of the work available and assure your company will be profitable.
Don’t get caught up in “What if’s”.
