Why do people ask you that question? Because they believe all contractors are the same, so the only difference is the price. That is all well and good if you are in fact the same as every other contractor in your area that does what you do.
But wait, you say. My company and I are different! Are you communicating that to potential clients? If you get asked, “How much is your work per square foot, lineal foot, etc.”, you aren’t. They think you are just like everyone else.
