Several months ago I looked at the use of my time while driving and at the jobsite and decided to mostly eliminate radio and music. I started downloading a lot of personal development content to the iPod and listening every minute I could. The result has been tremendous for my focus and attitude for the business. It cultivates my creative entrepreneurial mind so that I can make good strategic business moves. I would say that being amongst positive and constructive (no pun intended) material is the biggest missing element for the contractors I know. Time is precious, so filling your brain with garbage and idle time will certainly derail a person's focus. Todays leaders of thought need to read his book(s) in order to enlighten them to dream big and create all that you desire, especially if you believe. I personally think Hill's greatest quote is "Anything the mind (your mind) can conceive and believe you can achieve". All in life we want, we can have if we just believe. Mr. Hill is always spot on.
